Hasagani Tissera

Hasagani is a postdoctoral fellow at the SKIP lab. She earned her PhD from McGill University. Her research focuses on understanding processes relating to the accuracy and biases in people’s metaperceptions (i.e., the beliefs we have about how others see us). For example, she’s interested in who is a good metaperceiver and how people’s metaperceptions shape our social interactions.

Elizabeth Long

Elizabeth (she/her) is a graduate student in SKIP lab as well as the Social Ecology Lab at the University of Toronto, Scarborough (P.I.: Prof. Marc Fournier). Broadly, she is interested in the various routes people take to acquiring self-knowledge and the causes and consequences of doing so more vs less effectively. She is also interested in metascience & philosophy of science, & what it means to have good theories of psychological phenomena.

Victoria (she/her) is a graduate student in the SKIP lab. She is broadly interested in how people form and update their impressions of others, what people consider morality to be, and how researchers can address methodological issues (e.g., positivity) in self-reports.
